Duckee's Personal Immigration Timeline

April 1996 Chris gets I-129F & G-325A forms from Seattle INS.
early July 1996 Chris sends in I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancee to Nebraska Processing Center.
1-2 weeks later Chris gets Notice of Action (Form I-797) from INS telling him they have received our application and that it would take up XX-XX days to process.
late July 1996 Chris gets Notice of Action from INS - approved!
July 21, 1996 Duckee gets Packet III which contains all forms and instructions needed for required paperwork.
early October, 1996 Duckee notifies US Consulate that she is ready for interview.
10 days later Duckee gets impatient and calls US Consulate to find out interview date.
another 2 days later Duckee gets letter with interview date.
November 13, 1996 Duckee goes to US Consulate for interview *panic*
November 14, 1996 Duckee picks up passport with K-1 visa *yay!!!!!*
December 7, 1996 Duckee leaves Hong Kong for Seattle!!
February 15, 1997 Chris and Duckee get married!!!!! *beam!!!!!*
March 6, 1997 Chris and Duckee file I-485 Adjustment of Status Application & I-765 Application for Employment Authorization at Seattle INS office
March 15, 1997 Duckee receives letter with interview date for conditional permanent residency
March 18, 1997 Duckee receives letter with collection date for Employment Authorization Card (EAD) - they tell you it will take 30-90 days but it is (surprisingly) usually faster than that.
March 27, 1997 Duckee collects EAD at Seattle INS office
September 17, 1997 Chris and Duckee have interview at Seattle INS Office for adjustment of status to conditional permanent resident
